Tiphaine Samoyault – “Cain” by Fernand Cormond

Tiphaine Samoyault lives in Paris where she is professor of comparative literature at the University of Paris 3, Sorbonne Nouvelle. She is the author of essays, novels and literary translations. Her latest books published: “Bête de Cirque” (Seuil, 2013) and “Roland Barthes” (Seuil, 2015, English edition with Polity, 2016).  She collaborates with numerous literary journals and runs with Jean Lacoste the online journal “En attendant Nadeau”.
