Stonehenge is famous around the world, shrouded in speculation and folklore – but how much do we actually know about it?
The time around Stonehenge’s construction over 4,500 years ago was one of the most remarkable eras in Britain and Ireland, seeing huge social and technological revolutions – far from the shadowy time of mystery it’s often thought to be.
Alongside international loans, the show will feature amazing objects unearthed nearby – including items from Wessex Museums that will help illustrate the lives of people who lived at this time.
